It was also built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1635 and is also known as Wazir Khan Hammam. It is a Mughal-era bath that was specially designed for the maintenance of the mosque. It is no longer used as a bath for a long time, it is just preserved for viewing as a historical treasure and I consider it as one of the most visiting places in Lahore. You got to see this, trust me.

Lahore Fort

Lahore Fort is so huge that it spreads over an area greater than 20 hectares. It is also a historical treasure. It explains and demonstrates the great architectural and artistic approach of the Mughal era. Its construction was started during the era of Mughal Emperor Akbar, and the later carried on by Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb. Its beauty cannot be explained in words, from marble work to Persian floral designs and much more. It also has Sheesh Mahan in it. It is one of the historical places to visit in Lahore.

Data Darbar

Data Darbar of Lahore is one of the largest Sufi shrines in South Asia. It was built surrounding the house and tomb of Data Ganj Baksh Ali Hujwiri. He was a Sufi Saint who lived in that place in the 11th Century. When you will visit this place, you won’t believe how many people visit it on daily basis. It has a little rush there every time.

Thousands of people visit the shrine for prayers, site seeing and just for the sake of calmness of mind and heart. Despite the rush, the place has calm in itself, a peace that can be felt within us. You should consider this among the places to visit in Lahore. Prefer the earliest morning time for visiting it.

Wagah Border

Wagah Border is a famous border between Pakistan and India. It is famous for its daily ceremony of flags which happens in the afternoon. It is energetic and you will find everyone enthusiastic there. Everyone especially Pakistani nationals is extremely happy and patriotic there and the energy you will find on Wagah Border is incomprehensible.

You can have the best view from there and don’t forget the most delicious and mouthwatering food. You should consider this one of the exciting places to visit in Lahore.

Things to consider:-

There are so many places where you can visit in Lahore. It is a historical city with lots of historical buildings but it also includes parks, zoos, Joy land, huge shopping malls, etc. Altogether there are so many places that are humanly impossible to explain and tell about each one of them. This is a shortlist of the places that you must visit and should never miss.

It is completely alright to unable to see all the places of Lahore in 1 visit. I have been to Lahore many times and each time I have been to different places of Lahore but still, there are many left to visit still now and that is completely alright. And that is the reason why we gave you the best ones to prefer from our personal experience.

The people of Lahore are really friendly, hospitable, and helpful. They treat their visitors with the utmost respect and enthusiasm.

If you are taking your car to Lahore, prefer keeping it at the hotel while visiting sites. That is because the city has immense traffic in public places. Prefer taking a “Rickshaw” or Taxi or Metro Bus when you are visiting from one to another in Lahore. You can take your car or uber while visiting fewer traffic places and to the malls.

Lahore is a relatively cheap place as compared to Rawalpindi and Islamabad especially in terms of food and cuisines. You will find many hotels in Lahore as it is a tourist city. Most of the information would be available at Google.

The best season to visit Lahore is autumn. Summers are a little hard and winters have fog but it’s alright. I prefer winter for visiting Lahore. However, the city is not as harsh in terms of weather, just take accessories according to weather and you will be good to go.

Lastly, just go ahead and enjoy your visit to Lahore, trust me it would be worth it.
